Cookie policy
This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage in your browser) the Benoti website uses, why, how long they are kept and how you manage your choice. We comply with Article 10/2 of the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidelines of the Data Protection Authority.
This website is operated by Benoti Group BV, Bresstraat 2A, 2018 Antwerp, company number 1035.915.359. Questions about cookies can be sent to privacy@benoti.be.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or smartphone. They can, for example, remember a choice or measure whether you reached the website through an ad. We treat similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser or a pixel, in the same way in this policy.
- First-party cookies are set by our website itself. Third-party cookies are set by another party, for example Google.
- Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.
Your choice
On your first visit we show a cookie banner. There you decide:
- Necessary cookies are always active. Without them the website or the booking module does not work properly. No consent is required for these.
- Marketing cookies are only set if you explicitly consent via "Accept" or via "Preferences". The Google tag runs in "Consent Mode": as long as you have not given consent, Google does not set or read cookies and only receives cookieless signals (such as time, page visited and your consent choice) for aggregated measurements.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can use the website fully without marketing cookies. We keep your choice for 6 months; after that we ask again. You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time using the button above or via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the marketing cookies that were stored under our own domain.

Google may set other cookies on its own domains under its own terms. You can find more information in Google's explanation of cookies. Data collected by Google may be transferred to the United States; see our privacy statement.
If you close a survey on the website, your browser remembers this in local storage so we do not show it again. This only serves your choice and stays on your device.
We do not use analytics cookies. For our own visitor statistics we store nothing on your device and do not keep your IP address; you can read more about this in our privacy statement. Fonts are loaded from our own server, and the map on the contact page is a static image, so no cookies or data are sent to third parties for these. Links to Instagram and TikTok are plain links; only when you click them do those platforms' cookie rules apply.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also view, block or delete cookies yourself in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some features, such as the booking module, may no longer work. Instructions per browser:
You can also turn off ad personalisation by Google via Google My Ad Center.
Your rights
Insofar as cookies contain personal data, you have the rights described in our privacy statement, including the right of access, erasure and withdrawal of consent. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Changes
If we start using new cookies or services, we will update this cookie policy. Where necessary, we will ask for your consent again. The date at the top shows when the text was last updated.
